For Users (Browsers/Enquirers):

  • Contact Details: If you contact a provider through our site or sign up for updates, we collect your name and email address.

  • Usage Data: Information on how you use the site (e.g., search terms used to find products).

4. How We Collect Your Information

We collect information when you:

  • Register a business account and create a listing.

  • Pay for a subscription.

  • Sign up for our newsletter or contact us via our website.

  • Report a concern or lodge a complaint about a listing.

5. Our Legal Basis for Using Your Information

  • To Provide Our Service (The Contract): If you are a Lister, we process your data to fulfil our agreement to host your listing.

  • Legitimate Interests: To maintain the quality of the catalogue. This includes reviewing complaints and removing listings that do not meet our standards to protect our users.

  • To Comply with the Law: Retaining financial records for tax and accounting purposes.

6. Who We Share Your Information With

  • The Public: By choosing to list on The Care Catalogue, Listers acknowledge that their business contact information and service descriptions are intended for public viewing.

  • Service Providers: We use trusted third parties to host our website and process payments. They only have access to the data they need to perform their specific task.

  • Authorities: We will only share data with legal or regulatory bodies if required to do so by law.

7. How We Keep Your Information Safe

We take security seriously. Even though we are a public catalogue, your private account and payment data are protected:
