- 01The Care Catalogue is a people-first platform created to make care simpler, calmer and more connected — for families, care professionals and care receivers. It brings together care-ready services, suppliers, enrichment activities and practical support in one trusted place, reducing the need for endless generic searches. In doing so, it also makes visibility and discovery more accessible and meaningful for organisations that support care — helping them be found by the people they are genuinely for, in a space shaped by care sector values, not marketing models. It is built by Care Finder Assist, an independent organisation with professional and lived experience of care.
- 02Any business, charity or organisation that supports care — directly or indirectly. If your work helps: • a care receiver live with more dignity, comfort or connection • a care professional deliver better care or wellbeing • a family or informal carer feel more seen & supported …you’re likely a good fit. This includes support that improves quality of life practically, physically, mentally, emotionally or socially. You don’t need to be large. You don’t need a big marketing budget. You just need to be appropriate for care. 👉 If this sounds like you, you’re very welcome to list — even with a free listing.
- 03Care-focused organisations often tell us: • the right people struggle to find them • generic platforms don’t understand care • pay-to-play marketing doesn’t feel right • they want quality enquiries, not volume The Care Catalogue exists to remove those frustrations — helping the right people find the right support, without competing on spend.
- 04• No lead generation • No pay-to-play visibility • No add-ons or boosts • One simple choice: free or fixed-price premium • Unlimited relevant categories and regions included Visibility is based on clarity and care-readiness, not budget.
- 05Because care receivers come first. Supporting care means supporting everyone around the care receiver — families, professionals and the services that help care work well. Free and low-cost listings are a deliberate design choice, so: • good support can be found easily • families see a full picture of what’s available • care-relevant organisations aren’t priced out Premium is low cost for the same reason: it helps people understand your service properly, not buy attention. 👉 If this approach feels aligned, you’re encouraged to list — without pressure.
- 06Premium listings • Appear first because they include more detail • Help users understand options more quickly and with less mental effort • Allow fuller explanations, reassurance and context Premium affects depth, not fairness. Many organisations start free and choose premium once they see how the catalogue is being used. Free listings • Fully visible and searchable • Include linkable contact details • A complete and respected option Many organisations remain free-listed long-term — and that’s absolutely fine.
- 07No. The Care Catalogue is actively used and shared through: • real conversations with families and professionals • CFA and Care Catalogue social media and education • ongoing signposting of relevant categories There’s no additional cost for this support.
- 08A free community events space where you can share: • open days and information sessions • dementia cafés • inclusive or accessible events • support and awareness activities It helps raise awareness organically and show how you support the care community.
- 09It’s simple: 1. Choose free or premium option 2. Complete the short form 3. Submit — we sanity-check before publishing Listings can be updated as you go. 👉 You can start your listing in just a few minutes.
- 10The Care Catalogue works best as a shared community resource. We actively support visibility as the platform grows. You can help by: • sharing your listing link • Share announcement posts when you’re listed or your region goes live • using “Listed in The Care Catalogue” online badges • tagging us in care-relevant posts • recommending the platform to care-conscious organisations in your network The more the platform grows, the more valuable it becomes — and the easier it is to keep costs low.
- 11Yes. There are no affiliations with care homes or home care agencies. This keeps guidance unbiased and trust intact.
- 12If you’re unsure about categories, free vs premium, or need help listing: 👉 Just get in touch — we’re happy to help.
- 13The Care Catalogue isn’t about selling harder. It’s about being found clearly, fairly and appropriately. Over time, being listed becomes a quiet signal of care-readiness. If this feels aligned, you belong here.
